Super Effective Cellulite Reduction Exercises

Below is a workout video with bodyweight cellulite reduction exercises. Cellulite is fat and all fat burning principles can be applied to get rid of dimpling skin. The difference between cellulite and “normal” fat is the shape of fat cells around thighs.

Fat cells around thighs have sharp peaks pointed to the skin and this is the reason of orange peels look. Read more about this below the video.

The most effective cellulite reduction exercises

1. Exercises for thighs - these are quadriceps (front thigh) and hamstrings (back thigh) – these are major muscles and need to be trained intensively. Front thigh participates in all squat variations. Back thigh works well in hip trusts.

2. Exercises for butt - buttocks is often affected by cellulite but the good news is that squats work not only front thigh but also butt muscles. Do you know that gluteus maximus is the biggest muscle in the human body? And when you workout big/major muscles you spend more energy (aka burn more calories).

3. Exercises for major muscles - as said above major muscle burn more energy while working out and while resting. People think that when working about legs for example, they burn fat around legs.

But the process in the body doesn’t work this way. You should think about your body as a whole not as parts. When you do physical work your body supplies the energy for the work and this energy comes from a body as a whole, not from the part of the body that does the work.

This means that when you do arm exercises you pull energy from body’s energy system.

When you do chest exercises you pull energy from body’s energy system.

No matter what exercise you do, you pull energy from the same place.

BUT the difference is the amount of energy you need to do arm and chest exercises. The difference comes from the size of the muscle that needs energy. Big muscles need more energy or pull more energy from the energy system.

So, if you want to burn more energy/calories you must do exercise for bigger muscles like butt, thighs, chest and back.

4. Which cellulite reduction exercises are the best?. As explained above – these are exercises that spend more energy, workout major muscles and you will do more effective cellulite reduction workout.

Cellulite and Massage

Massage don’t beat, melt or does anything to the cellulite in mechanical meaning. The role of the massage is that it improves blood circulation and blood brings nutrients to the muscles. We came to muscles again :-) In order to burn energy/fat you need to feed muscles and massage helps to feed muscles better.

Cellulite Fat Cells

Cellulite is fat, you need to understand this. And you can’t reduce fat/cellulite by exercises alone. You need to introduce calorie deficit, so your body starts to pull energy from fat. Exercises helps to pull energy from the right place – fat, not from destroying muscles, because when you do exercises your body “thinks” muscles are important to sustain life and pulls energy from the other energy resource – store fat.

How to get rid of cellulite?

1. Follow healthy eating diet wit calorie deficit.

2. Do cellulite reduction exercises.
