Bodyweight Belly Fat Exercises for Women to Shrink the Waist Line

Workout video below contains unusual belly fat exercises. You don’t need any equipment, just your bodyweight :-)

Bodyweight exercises are very good when you want to burn belly fat, because the main role of belly muscles is to stabilize the body and keep it in upright position. So, all the exercises that challenge the upright position and your balance are perfect for stomach muscles.

When you run or jump, abs muscles keep the body upright; this is next good exercise for belly fat. The other good thing about jumps is that you need more oxygen to do them and oxygen helps to burn fat.

But there is a trick how to do jumps, jogging and running to get flat stomach and melt the fat over it.

Once you start to jump (run, jog etc.) after some interval your body starts to adapt to the new situation and optimize all processes within so you burn less energy. The results is as long you jump as little energy you spend.

Here comes the trick: Don’t give a chance your body to adapts.

Instead of continue running with the same speed, try to run 30 seconds at your maximum and than suddenly decrease the intensity for next 30 (20 or 10) seconds. Again after the rest (less intensity) period start to run at your maximum and so on.

Of course your body will adapt to this situation too, but because it is harder to adapt when you run at your maximum this will happen slower and you will have more time doing exercise while burning maximum energy.

This is so called interval training method and you can use it to burn fat not only around belly but also buttocks, thighs, arms etc.

The next level in interval training is to start alternate not only interval of intense and rest but also exercises. For example do 4 intervals of jumping jacks (intense and rest is 1 interval) and than do 4 intervals of push ups.

The body starts to adapt to jumping jacks but supriseeeee! You do push ups, no more jumping jacks, and the body is again in shock and spends more energy than if it adapts to jumping jacks.

Hope you get the idea :-)

I like to bodyweight interval training exercises, cause they give me flexibility to workout everywhere, even if I travel and don’t have any equipment.
